You can do things like mow the lawn, just to buy a concert ticket, a CD, a shirt, a DVD. You fall in love with them, cry when you show that you are very proud of them. You can defend them with life. For some people, this sounds crazy, and is crazy for people who do not even know you exist, but when they sing, sing to you it seems. They are the reason you do all these things.
